Unfortunately, my experience working with Barbara Garrett has been terrible. Barbara's services was initially setup by my son's father and my first telephone conversation with her felt rushed and ended abruptly. We were in need of a therapist for my son which was mandatory by the court. It has been three months since we hired Barbara and she fails to reply back to my emails requesting for an update on the status of my son's sessions. At this time, I do not know if my son has met his appointments, how many times Barbara has met with him, and if a schedule has been developed (weekly or biweekly sessions). I have requested to meet with her in person and to conduct a family therapy session which has not been done. In my opinion, Barbara is not reliable, displays no empathy or sincerity. I do not feel she has taken my situation as serious as I do.
