Dr Sollars is clinical director of a group practice of licensed psychotherapists, psychologists, social workers and counselors with locations in both Birmingham and Plymouth, MI. We offer treatment for a full range of concerns, as well as for all ages from infant through senior adults. We offer individual, couple, family and group therapy, as well as psychological and educational evaluation and testing. Our therapists share a common belief in the value of the individual and a belief in the ability to overcome psychological distress and live productive, fulfilling lives. While approaching their work from a variety of theoretical approaches and educational;/professional backgrounds, our therapists all share a passion for their work.

Services Sollars and Associates offers counseling and psychotherapy for:
Individuals, couples, families, groups
We treat a broad spectrum of concerns and disorders, with each therapist offering 3 or 4 sub-specialty areas. We have therapists that work primarily with adults, senior adults, children, or adolescents. We have therapists who specialize in working with individuals who present the following concerns:
eating disorders, educational and developmental concerns, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, adoption issues, LGBT issues, chronic mental illness, stress related to health issues, interpersonal relationship difficulties and more.
Some specialize in couple counseling while others work primarily with individuals. We treat individuals with situational concerns as well as long term chronic issues and disorders. We work with couples to identify and clarify stressors, and then learn new ways to communicate, resolve differences and build a stronger relationship. We offer family counseling to help families in stress and/or transition.
We offer psychological evaluations for employment, disability, medical and other needs, as well as independent educational evaluations for students of all ages.
We have ongoing groups, and groups beginning at all times throughout the year. We currently offer a group for family caregivers dealing with chronic illness or disability of a family member and a a group for individuals dealing with chronic psychological distress.
We offer cash fees as well as participation in a variety of insurances including Blue Cross, Blue Care Network, Medicare, Aetna, Cofinity, Value Options and more. We are continually adding to our list of credentialed carriers, so please contact us with your interest and insurance information and we can determine benefits. We offer payment options by cash, check and credit card. We offer a flexible payment and fee scale for those who cannot afford full fees on a regular basis.
