Coastal Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine was founded by William J. Bails, MSPT, DPT and Jamie L. Bails, MBA in September of 2008. The owners mission in developing this Facility is to provide Cost Effective, Individualized, Innovative, and Progressive Outpatient Physical Therapy Services to the Community and Surrounding Areas.

Our Facility is a Locally Owned and Operated Comprehensive Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic, which utilizes both Land and Aquatic Based Treatments to return our patients safely and quickly to their previous levels of functional ability. We pride ourselves in providing the newest, most advanced, and manually oriented one on one treatment techniques to aid in your recovery process. We treat patients from Pediatric to Geriatric, focusing on their individual needs and goals. All plans of care are designed utilizing the newest and most effective research based techniques and modalities to optimize outcomes. We address conditions that include but are not limited to: Post Operative Orthopedic Surgeries, Total Joint Replacements, Sports Injuries, Sprains, Strains, Neck and Low Back Pain, Sacroiliac Dysfunction, TMJ, Vestibular and Balance Disorders, Pediatric Conditions and Gait Abnormalities. Our staff understands that patients have different pain tolerances, rates of healing, and personal goals. Your treatment plan will be based and designed around these premises.

Coastal Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine is also a Teaching Facility that has affiliations with various Local, State, and Out of State Universities. Through Research and Clinical Instruction, we feel an obligation to assist in the development of our field and education of future Physical Therapists.
