I am writing about both of my daughters appointments this month with Dr Fox.

One of my daughters is two and a half and the other is one. It was there first time to the dentist and naturally they were shy and nervous. My older daughter was fine until the chair started to go back. Then she began getting upset. I was trying to reason with her which I am usually able to do without much trouble.
Dr Fox started to yell at me and told to me hold her down so he could just get it over with. He said I just need to count her teeth. I was in shock and went along with it.

I held them both while they screamed trying to calm them down all the while Dr Fox just went about as if NOTHING was happening. The receptionist came in to hold my youngest while I held my older daughter and then I held my little one next.
After that nightmare was over we went to his office where he ignored my children and started to ask me something about my little one sucking her thumb and telling me that juice was as bad for them as soda. I didn’t hear anything else.
I am still upset about what happened to me in the office. It still brings me to tears to discuss.
A Pediatric Dentist is supposed to specialize in treating children. This was NOT my experience. I am extremely disappointment with the office and more so with myself for letting that happen to my children. The entire procedure only took about 15 min but it was the single most traumatic experience for them and myself.
Needless to say DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE!!!

When comparing them to others I have visited for the same condition, they are among the best I have seen. Great atmosphere for kids. I tried taking my son to my "grown up" dentist when he was 6, but it didn't go well. he was very anxious and we returned to Fox. I wish their website has more info, including whether they offer sedation. I also wish they used the modern "wand" technique for Novocaine instead of a needle. They are usually on time and there are plenty of toys for kids to occupy the time.
