Dana Snook, RDN, CDE, CIC

ana Snook is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) and Certified Intrinsic Coach (CIC) with a strong passion for improving nutrition and feeding dynamics in families. She has over 10 years of experience working with both the adult and pediatric population. Her passion is working with children and specializes in feeding babies and children, solving feeding issues such as picky eating, failure to thrive, and over eating. Dana has spent a huge part of her career working with adults and is an expert in weight management, type one and type two diabetes, heart disease and infertility (PCOS). Dana developed and ran an award winning weight management program for children in the Mercer County area. Prior to opening her private practice, she was the sole dietitian for the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, providing nutrition services for military members and their families.

Dana is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelors in Dietetics. She also holds an advanced certificate in adult weight management. Dana has completed an additional 1500 hours of training in diabetes and has successfully passed the exam for becoming a CDE. She has completed an intensive training with Ellyn Satter focusing on the trust model of feeding. The Trust Model says that children will eat well and grow consistently when adults support them properly.
