Dave Draxton, LPC

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor working with adults, children 6 yrs & up, couples, & families, with an emphasis on healing trauma and relationship issues.

I treat Issues resulting from trauma or abuse: sleeplessness, depression, anger, anxiety, panic, bipolar disorder & not wanting to be around people. These can impact the ability to be present and communicate effectively in relationships.

I have been EMDR II certified since 1998. I draw from an array of additional approaches inluding Cognitive-behavioral therapy, Play therapy, guided imagery, relaxation skills, and Energy psychology techniques.

Family meetings can be included to promote better communication with kids, more cooperation, and less conflict with a group justice approach.

I work with as well with school-related issues, including ADHD, bullying, assertiveness, test anxiety, and social skills development.
