A lifelong resident of Texas, she received her MD Degree from Texas A&M university. She went on to complete her three-year Internal Medicine residency here at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. She then completed a one-year Hepatology fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas & is a graduate of UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas where she completed a three-year Gastroenterology fellowship.
