My goal is to help individuals create fulfilling and productive lives. With support, feedback and skillful guidance it is possible to change the direction of your life. With compassion and understanding, I will work with you to build on your strengths to attain the personal growth you desire. I am a Missouri Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor, with over 16 years of experience helping adults and young adults with Anxiety, Depression, Stress, Self-esteem, Grief, Trauma and Career related issues. I also assist families with Addiction/Codependency issues, as well as offer Marriage and Family therapy for clients experiencing relationship difficulties. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral & Solution Focused Therapy. I believe that it is necessary to treat not only symptoms, but also the underlying beliefs that keep people stuck in chronic, self-defeating behaviors. By combining complementary methodologies and techniques I am able to offer a personalized approach, tailored to each client. I graduated from Missouri State University in 1998 with a M.S. Degree and opened a private practice in Springfield MO. In 2008 I moved to Destin Fl and was in private practice there for the last seven years. I recently moved back to Springfield to be near family. I am a member of the National Association of Mental Health and the National Board for Certified Counselors.
