Worst experience of my life but before I go further the ER was good to me when I checked in after that all down hill.I was in the hospital if you want to call it that for 3 day’s here is a list of want I went through.
1.I was contagious with a virus & they had me with another patient.
2. I ate very little but they never asked me any questions why or can
we do something else for me they didn’t seem to care.
3. When I asked if can get washed down they just threw a wash rag at me this I’m not making out nobody wanted to come near me I was nasty, dirty, & smelly for almost 4 days a true nightmare.
4. I was on my back for almost 4 days they never asked me if I wanted to move around or seem to care about me.
5. When I rang the button for help they took a long time to come to my room total negligence on their part.
6. When they finally told me I had a roto virus & not contagious they really didn’t change their service to me .
I’m still not 100% & I truly believe their negative treatment torward me cost me several weeks on getting better .
I usually don’t write reviews today is 10/24/21 I got sick on 9/29 & still
only 90% my stay in this hospital was a nightmare I will never go there again they were terrible.

In October 2017, I was admitted to Cape Regional for a condition called rhabdomyolysis from their emergency room. There was no good explanation for why I had developed the condition, which related to my left calf, and the emergency room doctor was therefore appropriately concerned about my diagnosis. However, once I was admitted (at a time when the hospital was nearly empty) I spent the next 12+ hours in continually escalating pain and despite this, no doctor ever set foot in my room to examine me or otherwise evaluate my worsening condition firsthand. Finally a nurse (in her words) had to argue with the doctor assigned to manage my care to have him order a very simple, fast, and inexpensive pressure test on my calf, at which point it was finally discovered I had another condition called compartment syndrome. By then though, the pressure in my leg had increased so significantly that I needed emergency surgery and all of the muscle in that compartment of my leg had become necrotic. The extremely delayed diagnosis has left me with permanent disabilities. The hospital in all this time has refused to acknowledge any mistake on their part of any kind relative to their care--and furthermore, they have refused to provide to me the name of the doctor who was responsible for managing my care at the time, even though they maintain they did nothing wrong, so there is no good reason to refuse to provide this very basic information to me. This hospital in my opinion based on this experience, is medically and ethically irresponsible. I'd put zero stars if the system would allow it on this review, but it doesn't, so I'm forced to give them one--they don't deserve even that. Also note: as of at least July 2019, their Better Business Bureau rating is an "F"
