My father had his surgery cancelled as he was driving to the hospital to have the procedure!!!This procedure had been on the schedule for weeks and was cleared by all his doctors. The management of the operating room needs a course in customer service and efficient management. This surgery is not elective and must be done. I am very surprised that with all the phone calls and contact the hospital has had, that all of a sudden the decision is made to cancel a procedure after everyone's schedule has been disrupted. Not to mention the anxiety of waiting!! Very POOR MANAGEMENT OF THE SCHEDULE!!!
