I needed an eye exam and new glasses prior to my annual FAA flight physical. My regular eye Dr. was booked for two months. The Vision Center at Walmart (Hazle Township PA) was able to schedule me the next day. The office staff and the doctor were extremely friendly and professional. The Dr. was able to conduct a thorough exam including retinal photographs with no drops or pupil dilation. Also, the glasses were half the price that I was paying at my regular eye dr. I will be going here for all of my future vision needs.

I have been going here for years and it was always very nice but after this year I won't be going back.
First, everytime I go in my information is never in the system from the last time I was there. It always shows that I was there five years ago. I go every year. You have to go every year to get contacts. So I fill out the paperwork again. Which is not a huge deal. I would still go there regardless of this.
But when I went to pick up my contacts they were so rude. They had called me at home a few times during the day but I work during the day so I didn't get the messages right away. I called them back to let them know that I had gotten the message and knew that my contacts were there. I went to pick them up about a week later because it was my only free night. I work two jobs. When I went in they told me that they had been calling. I told them that I called back to them let know that I knew. The woman then said that she was the night person and was at her other job so she wouldn't know that. She was very rude. I was taken back by this. I didn't know what to say. I'm a shy, quiet person and am very nice to other people so I didn't complain or anything. Is it so wrong for your contact boxes to sit there for a few days. I think the vision center itself is nice and the optometrist was nice. Just the couple main secretaries there were not so hopefully they get new staff soon.
