Regenerative medicine treatments start with basic prolotherapy and may progress, if needed, to include platelet rich plasma (PRP), bone marrow aspirate concentrate ("stem cell") injections or other orthobiologic products including amniotic fluid and alpha-2 macroglobulin (A2M).
Procedures are done with image guidance when needed either using ultrasound or fluoroscopy.
Functional Medicine assessments involve extensive laboratory screening, an extensive medical history and hour long consultation to identify inflammatory triggers, hormone imbalances, nutritional deficiencies and to recommend solutions for these problems.
Bio-identical Hormone Replacement is offered primarily using the BioTE method and protocols with subcutaneous pellets, oral dessicated thyroid and oral micronized progesterone if needed. By using more natural, bio-identical forms of hormones, patients often have improvement in symptoms with lower risk of adverse side effects compared to pharmaceutical hormones.
