We were transferring care for our dog to this clinic. We took him there and he had a full physical, vaccinations, history, etc. We had records transferred from our previous vet and talked to the vet here about his history of a leg injury when he was a puppy, and the medication he takes daily for this. That part went well but when he was running low on his daily pain meds a couple weeks later and we contacted them for a refill, they not only would not give him the medication because "they hadn't examined him for that". They had just done a complete physical and had x-rays and reports from his previous care provider. We had talked about his medication just a couple weeks before when they did the exam. They were rude and not at all helpful. They said the vet was on vacation and there was nothing they could do.

The result was that my dog had to remain in pain for two more weeks, and when the veterinarian did return, we had to bring him in for MORE bloodwork before she would write the prescription. My poor dog really paid the price for our decision to switch to a vet closer to home.
