Please Read this BEFORE considering Caring Heats Vet Clinic!
Do NOT take your pet to this business!

My Mom has a 12 yr old rescue dog named "Roxy" that had a horrible hear infection along with blood in her urine and was taken to Caring Hearts. They treated the infection and wanted to keep her overnight for "observation". My Mother simply asked if they were sure that taking her home instead wasn't the better option and the vet was immediately stand-offish saying things like "Well I guess you know more about animals then we do".
She then asked if she could be reached if "Roxy" showed any signs of getting worse.
They then explained that the animals were not even monitored at night, not even checked on AT ALL. So she decided that she would take her dog home so she could monitor Roxy herself and bring her back to the hospital first thing in the morning to be re-examined and paid as if she were boarded.

Roxy did OK that night and my Mom called to let them know that she was bringing her in to be re-examined. The next part is the main reason for this review and was livid when I heard the conversation to come.
It included statements like "Well since you know more then we do so you can examine her yourself". She tried to explain that she has no medication, instructions or the know-how to treat her dog. The conversation ended with complete dis-respect and rudeness. (I would like to mention again that she paid to have her dog boarded and re-examined in the morning)

She took Roxy to another Vet that, like most, was very understating and considerate. The new Vet explained that they have had several pet owners come from Caring Hearts with similar stories and complaints. She then got full instructions along with an easy and inexpensive way to wash the dogs ears out with a combination of household items along with medication for the urine in the blood condition.

I really wanted to give Caring Hearts a piece of my mind but decided that saving other people from this horrible experience was the better choice.
