Dr Haberman examined my pony and said that she had issues with her back, her hock and her front right foot. She never even looked or checked the right front hoof but concentrated on the back and hock and even took x-rays with my permission. She recommended injections in both areas but I said no, I wanted some questions answered before doing any injections and the more questions I asked the more evasive she became. So I now have my pony being found as having all sorts of "issues" (going by Dr Habermans report) but no answers as to the meaning of what she found. I had to look up what "bone lysis" meant and when I asked more questions again I got nothing but silence. I am not impressed at all and it seems that Dr Haberman likes to use fancy veterinary jargon to explain her findings but is reluctant to explain what it means, so now I have a pony with a question mark over her head and I cant sell her until I get clarification. So I am now being forced into going to another vet to find out what the heck is wrong with her.

As for her right front foot that was report as having a "slight lameness"? No hoof testers were used and no abscess was looked for, it was totally ignored. She just concentrated on the hock and back and wanted to stick needles in her to make her feel "better" and put her on previcox (NSAID) which is actually made in dosage amounts for dogs, using it on horses is considered "off label" usage. I asked the vet how that would work, what was she planning on injecting into her back....cortisone? Again,....no answer. She told me that my pony and I were no longer under her care and I was to go elsewhere for answers. Its all written down in texts and emails so no slander or libel here in this review. I guess I had too many questions and became a nuisance.

I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen. They have a huge selection of medication available for pets and fully explain the benefits and possible side effects that each one presents. They also provide flea protection by the month, if you prefer to buy it that way. It's such a great place. They were one of the kindest, most caring staff I've ever dealt with. It didn't matter how many times I called with a question or concern, they were always happy to help me. They are completely committed to helping me as long as it takes to find the best solution. I never have to worry that they'll back out or give up if a solution isn't reached immediately, which has been a problem for me at other places. I am going to refer everyone I know here. I absolutely love this place.
