It was easy to establish trust with him and his setting provided a safe environment for me. He in my opinion, genuinely, listened to me..letting me have control, which I had lost in my life. When I needed feedback, he offered me simple and direct answers. Today, I reflect back and utilize what he offered as guidance and direction towards my new life. I put a lot into my counseling with him, (I paid for it too, no insurance) and I attended domestic violence classes and more, grew in my faith which I had lost.. but he is a ROLE MODEL person, educated and seasoned ( in all good ways). Today, I need a different type of therapy.. but I will be forever grateful for the few years I spent in session with him on a weekly basis.
