While my experience with this facility is somewhat limited it was fine up until I wanted to meet with or speak to the "doctor" who prescribed prozac and abilfy for my 16 year old son. since this was done without my knowledge i wanted to discuss the diagnosis (depression and anxiety) and how she determined it, the medications prescribed and see if there is a treatment plan.

When I called, the "doctor" refused to talk to or see me AND she gave me some BAD medical instructions and she did so via the receptionist! This is wrong on so many levels it's pathetic.

I returned the following day to see and get a copy of my son's records I was gently escorted to a room by one of the co-owners (Mark Ferriegel) and the operations manager Ben where Mark explained why they were not able to let me see or provide a copy of MY MINOR CHILD'S records, saying that they needed my son's consent which is incorrect. While the doctor-patient privilege is in place, that portion of the record can be removed and the reming information I as father have the right to see, copy and amend. During our "meeting" I pointed out revelant facts pertaining to my son's case with no response other than a raised eyebrow or the standard "I'm not a doctor" answer. The final "answer" from Mark Ferriegel, MA LPCC; "I suggest you re-connect with your son". ISN'T THAT PROFOUND? THANKS Mark Ferriegel, MA LPCC
