Back in approx. 1998 My then Husband and I took our 4 children to meet with Butch for extensive Counseling. Initially we sought out Butch to help us as a family, become more cohesive: we are a True 'Blended' family; a couple of our children were loved (adopted) into our growing family, Butch helped us become better parents and worked with each of our children Individually over the years. Two years later we adopted our 5th child and Butch again helped us as parents learn to help all our children and extended family cope with any stressors that came about. My ex and I returned for Counsel with him after all our children 'left the nest'; then Marriage problems.
What has always struck me with Butch is how he Always Treated myself and family like 'our happiness' was important to him; always positive outlook, patient. Always encouraged all of us to 'Live in the solution, and not drown in the inevitable problems' that occur with Living in this world.
I will forever be Grateful for the many Blessings Butch gave us!
If your looking for 'help' with raising your children or yourself, you will not be disappointed with Butch's Counsel.

I saw Butch every 2 weeks for about 6 months after my son was released from a mental hospital. The therapy was set up for my son, but I was the one that seemed to be getting the most from it. He's a great therapist. I missed an appointment and called to reschedule and he did. A month or so later, I missed one and was like a week late. I called several times and never received a call back. I was dropped and perhaps rightly so, but never received an explanation. I would rather had paid for the missed visit out of pocket than to have been dropped as a client. Sometimes with work, other children, and a severely autistic child, you lose the ability to juggle all the appointments and chaos. He is a private practice therapist though and with a special needs child, like many other things in life, money matters.
