This facility continues to offer the best care for the lowest cost. I have a family member who loves to garden and the staff had her go with them to pick out all the flowers for the planters and has let her care for them all season. She has a green thumb and they look wonderful as you enter the building. She has received many compliments and is very proud to show them off.

Have concern about how community is operated after recent visit. Assisted living facility common areas are lovely, but test calls answered by night / weekend staff find them not well informed. This leaves impression they may not know how to respond to an emergency. They do not even know who is in charge of the assisted living facility.
Found that the Manor apartment residence does not look as well maintained - the parking lot needs paving and the common areas are crowded and some furniture in need of repair. One resident sitting outside told me they have had days with no water and no meals.
Another resident says he is new and rules are confusing and some he has learned are not written down. For example, if he arrives during later posted dining room hours and staff is too busy cleaning up and getting ready to go home, then he is not served, but he is required to pay each month for meals. Plus he says they have rules about where to sit during meals - also not written down. So he cannot sit with his friends. He says some activities are not posted and he misses out. I asked about resident meetings or staff interaction with residents, he did not know how.
The grounds of the residence are lovely and the community is located in a park-like setting, I hope my scheduled tour of the apartments will result in a better impression.
