The staff was amazing and made me feel very comfortable during the time that I was there. The actual surgery I had was 10-15 minutes tops. I had two procedures back to back taking roughly 5 minutes each. Again, the staff/nurses were wonderful! My problem was when I received my bill and discovered I was charged a $7200 facility charge for EACH procedure. They didn't prep me twice, move me to another room, or use additional staff for the procedures I was merely charged twice because "that's standard procedure". If I had one surgery that took twice as long then I would have only been charged once. This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever! The response that I received from Sherry in billing was "you aren't the only one paying high medical bills. It's because of Obamacare." Nice. That made me feel so much better. I will definitely check out facility charges before having another surgery! I never would have had the one I did if I knew how they would be billing me!!
