Very frustrating experience. BC/BS marked in an EOB form that I was not responsible for a payment to the hospital for a colonoscopy. The billed me, I contacted them, then they sent me to a collection agency. After several visits to the billing office, numerous phone calls to BC/BS of MS and the billing office at RFH, and after 3 way call, between all of us the collection agency is still hounding me! STOP!!!!!!! This is crazy!

The billing department is HORRIBLE! Nothing is ever right, you have to request multiple times for an itemized bill, even after they send you collection notices they still do not send itemized bills so you know what you're paying for.

They still have my dad's name on my bill from before I had my own insurance. They say I have no insurance on file, even after i told them I"m holding an EOB in my hand from that particular visit. They're completely an unorganized group of idiots in the billing department. Doctors are fine, but the billing department has run me away.
