Downtown Birmingham Veterinary Clinic PC
It's a total rip off!
I went there a week ago cause my Puppy was itching. The Female Doctor offered me 2 different options of shots. I chose the "better" and more expensive one cause it was supposed to keep her free from itching for 2-3 Months. That's what she said. The Bill was $ 163,00.
Not even a week later she started itching again. So I called in and they told me to bring her in again.
Then Dr. Schwartz looked in her ears and skin (which was done already a week ago form the Female Doctor)
and told me that the shots should keep her itch free for only 1 month, not for 2-3 months. When I explained that the Female Doctor told me that, he snapped at me! He told me the only thing he can do is give me some pills.
Then he charged me for the same issue in 1 week another $ 106,00.
He could have just send me a receipt for the pills. But they want to charge every time for an exam. Not going back there ever again!

I love that they are always more than happy to answer my questions, and actually welcome questions. I've felt awkward at some other places I've visited when I've tried to ask a lot of questions, but not here. They went out of their way to make me feel special and respected, and were very sympathetic to my situation. I've never seen more kindness and empathy anywhere else. They always go above and beyond to help me with anything I need. They never complain about anything, and I know I can always count on them. I never had to doubt their qualifications. They made their credentials completely obvious, which made me feel a lot safer.
