If you can avoid using this ER do so. CHAS has an urgent care for respiratory problems, broken bones, intestinal distress, etc. They don't take your life's savings for treatment, but charge a reasonable, affordable small fee. My savings were cleaned out as if by experts for one nebulizer treatment, one chest X ray, a handful of pills, and a few minutes of a doctor's time. This resulted in three enormous bills of over a thousand dollars apiece.

The emergency department answered most of my questions but I could have used more information. Their staff is very friendly and professional. I felt like my needs were mostly met, I would have appreciated a request to send a report to my primary care physician.

The staff didn't seem to know very much, they couldn't ever answer my questions
