By far the most frustrating experience I've ever had with a doctor. I was waiting for a cardiologist to see me so I could be released from the hospital. For some reason, Dr. Patel saw me first. I had never been a patient of his. He quickly looked through my file and prescribed me 2 medications that I later found out I did not need and should not have taken. He even wanted me to visit him again the following week for further (expensive) testing. No thanks... A few weeks later I get a bill for $450 from him. To make matters worse, I sent my payment for the bill, but it was never processed! It's been an absolute nightmare trying to get a hold of anyone at his office because they do not return calls and are only open from 1-4pm. Even when I called at 1:15, they did not answer. Very unprofessional. Complete waste of time and money.
