I have been under various doctors' care at Hahnemann University hospital since 1991. Their doctors are superb, the nurses well-trained and the overall staff professional. The overall care the hospital provides is commendable. Most recently I found their downfall, related to the admissions and billing departments who had incorrectly sent my bills to a collection agency in California because they had the sent bills to a prior address I lived in over 12 years ago! .

Hahnemann hospital has a new billing department who is apparently re-submitting old billing that has been already paid. It has been a nightmare of bills from various outpatient departments since then, bills being sent for things we paid for. I wanted to give it no stars but I can't do it. In addition to this Tenet hospital providers have switched to being Drexel Medicine providers. Employees pay significantly less for Tenet providers, and were not informed that their providers were now Drexel. Billing came in the form of a nasty letter that we were going to be in collections over these bills. Hahnemann is a good hospital but the billing problems are a real headache
