We are having trouble with getting portable oxygen tanks for my mother in law. She is a current customer of Legacy Medical Equipment for some time now, but recently her oxygen deliveries have been a headache. We call and set up a delivery/exchange and they have never showed up. No phone calls. When we call in and check, they have no idea what is happened to our order. It is very frustrating for her because she is dependent on your service to get to her doctors appointments and testing. Yesterday, she sat at home all day long waiting on a oxygen delivery that never came! I called again this morning to make sure she has a delivery for today and guess what.. "They need to call the driver."
She has never owed you any monies, her account should be paid. Her deceased husband is a war veteran and she should not be treated this way. Nobody should! There seems to be a severe breakdown of customer care at your Troy location. People like my mother in law rely on your to do your job. You locked her into a oxygen contract and you cannot deliver her oxygen when she needs it. She cannot get oxygen from another company, and it feels like your company does not care about the patients just their insurance money. I am angry that Legacy Medical is playing with my mother in laws basic human rights by failing to deliver adequate contracted care. They are putting unnecessary obstacles in her already complicated health care goals.

This is simply unacceptable and cannot happen again.
