Our Animal Hospital, located in Groveland, Florida, is designed to render state of the art, small animal surgical,major medical and urgent care for sick and injured dogs and cats. We are dedicated to professional yet humane treatment. Service is limited primarily limited to surgery and major medical care.
Our Chief of Staff, Dr. Ronald W. Stone, is a former Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Miami's School of Medicine. During his thirty year career he has served as President of the South Florida and Lake County Veterinary Medical Associations and as Executive Secretary for three national veterinary associations, including the prestigious Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society. For ten years he chaired the Animal Care Committee of the famous Miami Heart Institute, and is a member of "Who's Who in Veterinary Medicine."

AFTER HOURS SMALL ANIMAL EMERGENCY ON-CALL SERVICE AVAILABLE FOR THE CLERMONT, GROVELAND, MASCOTTE, LAKE AND SUMTER COUNTY AREA.
PLEASE NOTE:
The Veterinary Trauma Center is primarily a daytime practice. We do however handle after hours small animal emergencies 7 days a week. Please call ahead to notify us of your arrival and to receive first aid instructions. After hours we operate as a doctor "On Call Service" rather than a "walk-in" clinic . This means that the doctor is available to respond to your emergency, but may not be present in the center.
24 hour doctor and nursing service for dogs and cats is provided on an as needed or requested basis for the Lake and Sumter County area.
