Dr. Johnson is a wonderful veterinarian. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and does his best to work with the client as far as cost vs. necessary treatment. The staff is very friendly and they seem very interested in the comfort of my pet. They do a good job at making things easy to understand and are always happy to repeat things. They were courteous over the phone, as well, and tried their best to work with me and my schedule. If I had one complaint, it would be that they aren't available after hours and you have to take your pet to Sacramento in an emergency, but it's the same thing with any other vet in the county. Very pleased!

Whoever did those negative reviews (likely just one person) either went to an entirely different place or they have an incredibly skewed view of the world. Or maybe it's a former employee with a grudge. Either way, don't pay attention to that person! These guys are great! Very friendly, the doctor is smart and skilled, and he really seemed to care that I didn't have a whole lot of money, so he worked with me on what was most important for him to do first. It was really easy to set up an appointment, the lady on the phone was very nice. What really impressed me is how the doctor seemed interested in taking as much time as needed to stay with me and answer my questions. Really cool guy, awesome place, take your pets here!
