Merced Animal Medical Center was founded in 1986. It was accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) which upholds the highest standards of care ever since. Due to the overwhelming need for an after hour critical care facility in the area, Dr. Leah Hill chose to make the commitment to the community by opening a 24 hour emergency clinic in 2007.
Animal Medical Center is a full service veterinary hospital that provides routine preventative medical care for healthy pets and critical care for sick or injured pets in the Merced, California area. Our highly trained veterinarians and technicians can handle any pet emergency, from a small laceration to major trauma. Your pet will receive all required treatments, monitoring 24 hours a day and pain management.
We are now offering urgent care exams at a reduced cost 7 days a week from 8am-10pm. This is one way Animal Medical Center is making it more convenient and affordable for the people and pets of Merced, Mariposa, Atwater, Los Banos, Chowchilla, Madera, Yosemite, Le Grand, Planada and the surrounding communities.
