My cat was quite ill when we arrived at State Street Dog & Cat Hospital. This was our first time going there - we were referred by a close friend. There was very little wait time, my cat was seen by the vet, diagnosed, and we were sent home with a treatment plan. Unfortunately, things did not improve over the next several days as we had hoped and a second visit was necessary. In between those two visits, my cat suffered a stroke. The vet and I discussed the treatment options and concluded that my cat's quality of life would not be served well by continuing treatment for an eating disorder while simultaneously being treated for a stroke from which he may never recover. Sadly, I had to put the little guy down. The vet and her staff were more than caring and compassionate - I cannot say enough about their efforts to ensure that my cat and I were shown the utmost respect during this most difficult time.

They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff is very friendly and professional. Even though they do not take appointments I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes before seeing the Vet.
