This veterinarian, Dr. Smith, is negligent and cruel. One star given because the receptionist apologized to me for his behavior.

We had been going to this vet for around three years. We've spent thousands of dollars at his clinic to care for our diabetic cat.

I dropped and broke her bottle of insulin and popped in to buy another bottle. A few weeks prior, she had gotten sick on a Friday and she was taken to another vet that was open on the weekend so I could adjust her insulin without having to wait until Monday. I brought a copy of her blood work for her records and told him that her dosage had changed.

He asked me where I took her and then handed me her paperwork and told me to "go get her insulin from this veterinarian."

He refused to sell me one more bottle and the vet with whom I "cheated" on Dr. Smith did not carry prozinc so I ended up with a very sick cat while I scrambled at 4:30 pm to find either a vet clinic that had her insulin in stock or a pharmacy to fill the written prescription given to be by the other veterinarian.

I'm not sure if he had a bad day and took it out on me, if he was upset he didn't sell me a $200 blood test or if his ego was bruised but if any of these things prevent him from caring for a long-time patient, he can't be trusted with the care of your animals.

He knew my cat would get very sick without her medicine and he didn't care.
