The staff here goes above and beyond to make my pet and me feel at home. They are the friendliest people! The veterinarian and friendly staff educated me on what I could do better to help keep my pets healthy and happy and really stressed the importance of taking care of my pets teeth. I left with a better understanding of proper pet health and found their recommendations to be incredibly helpful. They have the greatest designated area for pets to go to the bathroom here, which is extremely convenient. I never have to worry about scouting out a place for my dog to go pee and It is so well kept too. They had some of the best pricing I have ever seen. It even seemed to be a little under what other veterinarians in the area charge, so needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. This veterinarian always sends reminder cards for pets annual exams and in addition to this we always look forward to receiving the adorable cards they send out during the holidays. I've never seen a vet that goes so above and beyond to make their patients feel appreciated. I started using Dixie Veterinary Clinic about 18 months ago when the vet I had been using for 18 years unexpectedly retired. I wanted a vet that put the care of the animals first and money second. I have worked at a local shelter and I foster for a few rescues so I have had experience with a lot of vets, with some of them it was like taking my animals to a high pressure salesman. After 18 months of normal vet visits we had a serious issue with one of our dogs, the level of care he received and the commitment to healing him the staff showed was absolutely AMAZING to say the least. They truly saved my friends life and there was never a feeling that money was their motivation, it fact it was the exact opposite. If you are reading this because you are looking for a High Quality, Compassionate and Competent vet to care for your furry family members you will not be disappointed with the Dixie Veterinary Clinic.
