We were vacationing in Maine and our dog had a minor emergency. They squeezed us in at the last minute, stayed past their normal operating hours, and took fantastic care of our dog. All of the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and reassuring - to both us and our dog. The exam was very thorough and they did not rush through or skip anything, even though they were staying late on a gorgeous Friday afternoon. They explained what might be possibly causing her symptoms, what treatment options we had, the pros and cons to the different treatment options, and answered all of our questions completely. Best of all? The quick fix they applied in the office worked immediately and the courses of medication made her completely comfortable, stopped her chewing and scratching of the affected areas, and she is already showing significant improvement and healing. We would unhesitatingly recommend them for regular or emergency care if you are in the Lake Region area.
