It was like being in hell surrounded by uncaring non compassionate nurses. It has changed much in the last 8 years. It was a nightmare. I would have done better staying at home and watching my loved one die at home.

Our experience with Good Samaritan Hospice was a nightmare. The night staff on duty when we arrived were 'floaters'...no welcome or information, no checking on our loved one who was hours from death. They were the coldest, most uncaring women I could imagine. We were going to have to move our dying loved one to avoid being stuck in a room with no one to check on her. The day staff was apologetic and tried to make amends but NO ONE should have to suffer more due to the neglect of hospice.
