My aunt was part of the hospice program. They were very helpful most of the time. However the night she passed away, my uncle tried to reach them, and they did not send some for a long time. He kept on calling and the person who attended the call told him that if it was a dire sitution, to call 911. At that point she had passed away. My uncle called 911 and they showed up prior to the hospice nurse. They tried CPR and other activity, and told him that she was not breathing, but the body was warm. They put her in the ambulance and when they were about to leave, the nurse showed up. So don't count on hospice folks to be there for you in an emergency. The expect the family to wait for the nurse, even though the patient might be dying.

Absolutely! They aren't arrogant at all and are more than willing to pursue advice when necessary
Does this provider ever overbook appointments here?
Never! They have lots of business, but they do such a great job of never overbooking.
