Dr. Lisa Shives has a clear vision about how Sleep Medicine should be practiced: Global care with a small-town feel. And so she founded Northshore Sleep Medicine which is dedicated to the comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of all major sleep disorders in adults as well as children. Dr. Lisa Shives has completed a year-long fellowship in Sleep Medicine at the University of Chicago and is board certified by the American Board of Sleep Medicine. Her practice has been completely dedicated to adult and pediatric Sleep Medicine and now also addresses weight problems and metabolic disorders. Lisa is an official spokesperson for the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. AASM is a non profit organization dedicated to the education of both medical staff and patients. Their mission is to uphold the highest possible standards of Sleep Medicine.
