I was referred to this therapist by the Veterans Choice program. It was tele mental health. The first meeting was rough and she warned me "I'm going to be tough on you". Ok fair enough I can handle that.
Meeting two rolls around and we get to talking about my own self loathing for being a horrible person in the past and doing some not so good things. When we get on the subject of what happened with my ex husband she literally accuses me that the only reason I fought for custody and ruined my ex was for my own selfish revenge. That I dont care about anything else but myself. I dont care about my daughter or anyone else, just myself. She then continued to belittle me about "making everything about you". This was supposed to be a therapy session. This person was supposed to help me. Instead she assumed and she judged.
