Great experience over all! He is straight forward, and lays everything out on the table for you. He's always bright and optimistic but doesn't shy away from talking about all the possible complications like so many other doctors will do, especially for a surgery as major as a colon resection, I appreciated that the most. Luckily he is a good enough surgeon that I didn't even need to worry about the worst case scenarios. He also has a great team around him, I was getting multiple checks ups a day in the hospital, from his surgical team and prompt follow ups to check on my condition after I was out with his great PA and staff. Best part is he does this all while coming off like a normal guy, doesn't have his head in the clouds or nose in the air like so many other medical professionals I've seen. 3 months post surgery now and he's helped me to feel better then I have in years. Would definitely recommend!

I'd like to share a extremely positive experience I Had with Dr. Rivadeneira and his entire staff back in 2022. I had been dealing with a 3rd bout of Diverticulitis that landed me in the hospital for a week while away on a family vacation around the holidays. The ER Dr's told me I was lucky that I did not need emergency surgery but advised as soon as I get home to see a surgeon about having the bad part of my colon resected. I was referred by a family member who had a similar experience that had a positive outcome with Dr. R. My first visit I knew I was in the right hands. Further confidence built by my interactions with nurses in the hospital where he was going to do the surgery. They had nothing but great things to say about him. Dr. R was honest and upfront about the surgery and potential outcomes. I came through the surgery well with no bag and have been 100% since. I highly recommend Dr R. Reach me via email if you need any guidance.
