The office was easy enough to find, although I don't think I will need to go back. Front office staff were not even remotely polite, to anyone. They violated HIPAA regulations with the sign in sheet as everyone's name was fully visible, and at check out, there was a patient's record on the counter, with personal health information completely visible. When I gave it to them, they threw it across the desk. There was an elderly woman who was asking some questions, and they asked for personal information (SSN) in front of the whole waiting area. The physician's approach was condescending, and she said that I had a high arch, when in reality my arches are completely flat, and I pronate horribly. She pressed on an inflamed area on my sole, and obviously, I jumped in pain. It was almost as though she knew it would hurt, and then demonstrated her "diagnostic skill" by pressing on it. The nurse Kathy was the sole redeeming member of the staff.

I went to Dr. Szypczak for severe flat feet or fallen arches, hoping she would examine my feet and be able to offer help with custom orthotics. Instead, she never even looked at my feet, but said that if I was over 60 and had flat feet or fallen arches, then that automatically meant that I had arthritis --- this was said without any examination nor even a single question to me about pain or my experience with the problem. I was appalled at such gross generalities and ignorance on her part ,which in this case were completely false. She was arrogant and close minded. It was a wasted appointment and I could never recommend her.
