I wanted to love this place and did plenty of research before choices Tonique's. I actually spent so much time I made one appointment canceled and then made another in 3 months. I was wanting to start to put highlights and color in my past bra length hair. I should have known somethign was up when I called two different times and they pushed the stylist Katie Everly. I was uneasy feeling that maybe she is new, but I think she is just not very good. She has worked there for 5 or so years. And one of the only other bad reviews was becuase of her. I should have read that before going in. I asked for a change and showed her some pictures of myself three years earlier. She kept talking about how the change was so subtle, but while doing my hair she was saying how I could have it lighten to the color I wanted in one/two appointments top. Just started contradicting herslef when she saw the color was awful. And of course she did the traditional stylist thing where they try to convince you it is great when you are not so sure. She literally changed nothing for the good. She put very fine highlights of gray/plantium blonde thoughout my medium brown hair at the time. I felt like a skunk as soon as I saw myself. And could not understand why I just payed $130.00. What is worse is the bottom is gray blonde and the top is golden blonde highlights, it appears she just slap the glaze on the top of my hair and did not run it though. I was eating with my friend today, about 4 weeks after the orginal dye job and I asked her to explain my hair to me so when I call another salon I can explain what is going on with it. I think she described it perfectly when she said it looks like a gray brassy, brown. Would suggest you decline any appointments with her.

I was encouraged by a friend to try Trilogy. They exceeded my expectations with their warm friendly atmosphere. The quality for their work is excellent and they always listen to what I want and deliver. Thanks to my friend I have found a salon that makes me happy.
