I love how much attention to detail they show. They are always so careful and meticulous. I never have to worry about them making a mistake or forgetting something. They make an extra effort to get to know their patients and find out what they need. They always remember me and make me feel very important. They are the most reliable salon I've ever been to. They always follow through and have never canceled any of my appointments. As soon as I walked through the door, I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. They went out of their way to make me feel special and appreciated. They were by far one of the best I've ever seen in their field. It was obvious that they've been exceeding their clients' expectations for many years.

The above review is preposterous. This is obviously a person with a personal grudge, or it wouldn't surprise me at all if they were a competitor. I have been going to Olivia for years and I have always been treated with respect and I have always left happy. I NEVER review companies online- who has the time? But, when I saw this previous review- it angered me so much that I had to.

They didn't tell me anything about my treatment options. I left feeling very confused and frustrated. I got an appointment quickly. I've never had to wait too long. They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. It was pretty hard to find the building, but I eventually found it. I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. Why is there not an option for zero stars??
Summary of the below: Left salon with very damaged, wet, unbrushed, orange hair. Yes, it's actually that bad, the top of my head is basically all short broken hairs. The bottom frizzy and split. No apologizes from the owner.

I made an appointment for highlights at Rage based on the amazing Yelp reviews...So I was prepared for the shabby decor which was pretty shabby even after the "new" light purple paint was revealed.
Well after discussing how to achieve the look (lots of blonde) that I wanted my stylist (if she can be called that) said highlights would be very expensive and take a long time and that full color would be the better option for me. Since I have been getting the same highlights for 15 or more years I was so excited that someone finally "got it" and was ready to help me achieve a dramatic look. The concern I expressed was I had been told there is danger of turning ORANGE...I probably expressed my fear of orange 15 times. Well my "stylist" was very convincing...She was sure that it was no problem...and that a toner would fix any possible orange. And I was relaxed. We chatted and then it was time to rinse. She told me how great it looked. Well when i got to the mirror my hair was ORANGE!!!!! Don't worry I was told, she can put the toner in. Post toner, I went to the mirror and my hair was still ORANGE. I was shaking and really upset, its ok she'll put bleach in it and that will take all the orange out. The whole time the bleach was being rubbed into my head the "stylist" was expressing her hatred of bleach and that it should be illegal!!! I mean really she said that. She told me how damaging it was...That scared me, my hair was very healthy up until this appointment I was really proud of that. I was so fearful of getting up with orange damaged hair. Once it felt like it was BURNING my scalp I asked for it to be taken out. She obliged. We went back to the chair and it was ORANGE and DAMAGED...Obviously damaged. The "stylist started combing and it was knotty (well of course) she was pulling with a horrible brush and asked me if my hair was always knotty. I started crying and pulled the brush from her. It was breaking with each pull. I intervened MUCH TOO LATE I understand that. Anyway the owner came over and in a way reprimanded ME for not getting highlights. She said it would get undamaged don't worry...I know that once hair is damaged it is impossible to undamage it. I let them put some oils in my hair. Ended up not paying and leaving with a head of unbrushed wet orange hair. It has been 2 weeks my hair is still breaking and still orange. I am not a crazy vain person. I have never cried at a salon. I had to wear a hat for the past 5 days and will for weeks to come. I lost 1 year of healthy hair. If you go there you should think again. If you haven't, please don't.
