About

Nicole Ohebshalom, RN,CHHC

Not many people can sum up their life philosophy in one word, but for Nicole, it’s all about balance. It’s a remarkably simple word that drives a powerful concept: finding balance in work, love, exercise, and leisure. And, on a more fundamental level finding it in the way you eat, drink, and live. She believes that through balance and finding the fulfillment residing within us, our natural radiance shines to lead us towards a pleasurable life inside and outside of us.

Nicole has always been interested in the connection and impact of food, lifestyle and yoga has on one’s health. She began her passion in health as an undergraduate nutrition major with a desire to pursue a path as an MD/DO. In her second year, Nicole changed majors to become a Registered Nurse from Northeastern University. She has worked extensively at Brigham and Woman’s Hospital, Mclean Hospital and Roosevelt Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Center. Nicole was further trained as a Nutrition and Lifestyle Counselor from Columbia University and Integrative Institute of Nutrition, where she deepened her understanding of nutritional theories in creating personalized, balanced and pleasurable one-size-doesn’t-fit-all diets. She is accredited by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. Currently, you can find Nicole creating more health with her private one-to-one clients through the tools and techniques of the Radiant Living Wellness Programs in her midtown office.

Nicole pursued her life passion for understanding the mind/body connection and yoga by becoming a KRI Certified Kundalini Yoga Instructor. Her Radiant Living Programs have the choice of including yoga/meditation.

Nicole’s contribution to the nutrition and health world is her focus on how getting healthy can be fun, easy and in fact such a pleasure that healthy changes are not only attainable but also sustainable. Nicole has a unique teaching style. Her fusion of classical eastern knowledge and western science help her clients to understand and develop a set of skills to know how to choose and balance daily foods to be healthy, radiant and vital. Nicole doesn’t expect you to flip your life in one session. Her goal is to help her clients listen to their body in a way that will allow them to be flexible with food for the rest of their life. Nicole’s commitment to the people she works with is evident in the way she takes time, listens and truly cares about their process.

In addition Nicole is a writer. Since childhood Nicole’s been passionate abut writing. Her writing is seen weekly in NBC’s Green Is Universal, Larchmont Loop and in her “Radiant Living” e-newsletter.
