As a registered dietitian, board certified in sports nutrition, and as a female, I am appalled that on television this doctor could shame a female's body to such great extents. Instilling fear is not motivating to someone who has lost control of their health due to stress. Telling them "wow" about their body fat and then repeating that while taking photos is demeaning and emotionally damaging to a woman, not helpful. Without positive mental health, finding a sustainable lifestyle and making healthy decisions for a lifetime is impossible.
