My expertise is in providing a holistic and integrated approach to concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress management, self-esteem, trauma, grief and loss, and relationship concerns.

I am trained in mindfulness-based approaches, somatic psychotherapy, play therapy, yoga, sandtray and art, as well as traditional cognitive therapy. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults.

Recent Reviews
They always make an extra effort to make me feel respected and attended to. They always listen to every question or concern I may have. Their office was one of the quietest, most peaceful places I've ever visited. I was able to relax very easily. She is wonderful play therapist for my five year old. so kind and understanding. Highly recommend her!

Rita Patel Garcia is a compassionate and experienced therapist. She helped me as I was struggling with major depression. Through her support, I was able to learn coping skills and also how to take better care of myself. I would highly recommend her as a therapist!
