We waited 2 weeks for an appointment. We waited 50 minutes beyond the scheduled appointment time to be seen by the doctor. The office staff offered no apology for the delay, only saying he "arrived late" (but they apparently could not call to tell anyone he was running almost 1 hour late). When my wife asked when she might be seen, they told her that her chart was already "back there." Problem was I was looking at her chart sitting in front of the receptionist! The exam was TWICE interrupted by staffers seeking either the doctor's signature on prescriptions or to schedule other appointments. Clearly not critical interruptions, but it served to make us feel like we were not important.

As for the exam, the doctor was clearly knowledgeable, but also appeared to lack any real bedside manner. He was clipped in his approach and overall negative in his tone. The total exam lasted less than 20 minutes and was closed with a "sorry for the delay," and the doctor left.

The doctor obviously has superior credentials, but the way we were treated left us feeling disappointed and uncertain that we would even try to go back for the proposed therapy. It was a terrible way to treat a new patient and left us wondering why he was so highly touted.
