Evergreen Place in Manchester, NH is a non-profit fifty-two bed supported residential care facility. Often referred to as an assisted living community. Evergreen Place has been a continually operating resource to Manchester and the surrounding communities since 1904 and holds a special place in the hearts of many. The same proven sense of caring and community service remains the driving force behind Evergreen Place today. We plan to continue with renewed vigor to serve the community in this 21st century of the internet and cell phones. Our new name is a reflection of constancy, in the midst of the positive changes and additional services that we are now offering. Evergreen Place provides 24 hour nursing and aide staff, on site lab services, medication management, preventative health services, wellness programs, on site hairdressing, a nail technician and in house doctor visits. Evergreen Place is only blocks from emergency medical services (ambulance) and minutes from both the Elliot Hospital and Catholic Medical Center. Our residents feel that this is their home and often speak in those terms. This wonderful old building has been remodeled and has a great deal of character and when compared to the institutional look and feel of many assisted living facilities, it is no wonder that our residents love it so. Evergreen Place also features a full time Activities Director who works hard to provide fun and rewarding activities on a daily basis, both here at Evergreen Place and organizing field trips. And our residents love to dream up new activities as well as fun and interesting field trips. We provide three full meals each day in addition to which the dining room is open for snacks anytime between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., with a special daily coffee time each morning at 10:00 am. Recent Reviews
They always go above and beyond to help me with anything I need. They never complain about anything, and I know I can always count on them. The meal plans they offered were great, so many choices!. The entire staff encourages friends and family members visit residents at any time. They can even have meals with me! They really understand how important it is to the residents to have regular visitors. I appreciated that they were still concerned about my health And gave me great advice. All my needs are met in a timely manner.
