The dietician accused me of lying about my dietary issues. I was told to have the foods I needed brought to the facility by family or friends. Only once did they not put something that I was allergic too on my tray. Staff was hostile and lazy. Nursing staff were stealing pain pills. When I went to the director I was told I didn't remember having my pill or I slept through it and eventually I was accused of setting up the nurses because I was racist! I am not, other staff confirmed that drug theft was an issue and other patients also complained. Multiple items stolen by staff. Fecal matter on the call bell in the bathroom was there when I arrived and never cleaned in 3 weeks of time. I was fortunate to be assigned outstanding P.T. staff (the only reason I didn't transfer). I have advised others I know about how terrible this nursing home is. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. They had me complete my admittance paperwork 2 days before I was discharged! They forgot to give me a meal on my last day and forgot to give me one of my prescriptions. I got sick after my first week and it took me 3 months to finally shake it after 4 courses of antibotics. If I compare them to others in their field, I wouldn't say they're the worst (I've had family work in nursing homes), but they're definitely not the best. Whenever I called with a question or concern, the staff failed to call me back or were generally rude. I avoided calling because I didn't want to feel frustrated. One employee in administration was very pleasant but unable to assist in most matters.
