A very good friend of mine whom I have medical power of attorney for broke her hip and had some problems during surgery. She needed to go to rehab. I went to Sterling pavilion. and found it to be clean with no odors and very nice single rooms, The admissions staff and nurses and c n a are great. my dear friend is making great progress. UNETHICAL and INEXUSIBLE for a Nursing Home facility. After a study and observation of this facility and it's staff the following was observed. Terrible staff from Administration to CNA;s. Unclean and uncaring. Nursing staff members rude & Unprofessional. CNA's play favoritism and don't do their jobs or even know how to do them. They were unknowledgeable and unprofessional. Many times Nurses and staff stated they were going to do things to take care of a situation and never did or tried. Did as they wished. Some even argumentative. Clients left alone for hours and hardly changed or cleaned up. Administration does not give legal documents to family members of clients so they can do as they wish as they wish. Head Administration stays away from handling any problems and they all pass the buck to everyone else. They will act as one type of a caring staff when new but watch out and be very careful as soon they will be the Nightmare from Hell for your loved one and you. Money is there only true concern. And although they are not just a Business , but a Service for our Senor Loved Ones there a true joke. They have a cosmetic nice warm look but if you come around enough and observe you will see what there all about. Oh, and if your loved one says somebody hurt them , like a staff member.......take their word because it is very well possible. Some of their staff should be arrested but they cover for each other and tell a lot of lyessssssssss. If your getting any kind of major help they will consistently Overbill you!!!! In this study at least ten families supported each other. Nothing positive except for the Dietary Dept. Make sure they give you all your Paperwork from day 1 if you dare take your Loved one their and keep your attorney at your door. NOT RECOMMENDED. Keep your Loved One Safe.
