The place is turning around, my father was there and they treated him very well, the new staff were polite and recieved him well. The Administrator and the DOH, answered all our concerns and issues and they did what they said they were going to do.I am very happy

This place is the biggest dump around. They are constantly understaffed, the employees get treated like dirt, the building reeks of urine, and the food they serve the residents is disgusting...egg salad Sandwhiches almost everynight for dinner... and the activities are a joke.. How can two individuals properly care for forty residents? They can't. Worst nursing home I've ever seen. The owner is a rude individual who shows no respect to the employees and make demeaning comments to employees when he holds staff meetings such as "go play in traffic" and telling females to eat their used tampons if they have no where else to dispose of them. Very little money goes back into improving the quality of life for those who reside at Pontiac.
