I did not want to experience another skilled facility again, but Pacific Regent calmed all my fears and sincerely cared for me. I was not able to move when I was admitted due to a neurological disorder. The last facility I had to go to was scary to say the least and the staff lacked care and professionalism. I got several infections and ended up back at the hospital in ICU and quarantined. However, Pacific Regent made me feel safe and the nursing staff was exceptional. My meds were also on time, they called my Doctors to consult, I was well cared for. I would highly recommend this skilled nursing facility if you come to a situation that you need this level of care.

I overheard a nurse's impatient response to my mother's request for a pain pill. Soon afterwards my mother fell while trying to get to the bathroom on her own. She told me she didn't ask for help because she was afraid they'd be angry with her.

We have also experienced a social worker whose main interest is to save money for medicare. She repeatedly threatened to recommend that medicare not cover our mother's claim.

A lady in the room next to my mother's kept asking for help but was ignored. It was evident that she needed attention because of the smell.

These are a few of the many negative experiences I had of this facility. Pacific Regent was at one time a highly rated healthcare facility but clearly they have not maintained that standard. The quality of care does not come close to matching the appearance of the place.
